PAT to pressurize government through revolution, election: TuQ

FAISALABAD: Talking to Dunya News today, Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri said they would pressurize the government through revolution and election.

In response to a question he said, they have changed the mechanism to pressurize the government.

He expressed his intention to contest elections at all levels.

PAT wants to hold people accountable, there must be electoral reforms followed by elections before the formulation of the national government.

Later addressing the press conference, TuQ praised the triumph of Faisalabad’s rally.

On the other hand, according to the sources Tahirul Qadri and Ahsan Iqbal have had a contact regarding the investigation of Model Town tragedy.

According to the sources, TuQ has given three names to head the investigation team namely Aftab Cheema, Nasir Durrani and Muhammad Amlaish.

Chief PAT has also demanded to appoint head of the investigation team as Inspector General (IG) Punjab.
